What Sets My Therapy Apart

Every teenager is unique is different. My approach depends on everyone’s personal needs. I listen attentively to your teen, learn their language, and meet them exactly where they are. The main goal is to help them open and start sharing their troubles and issues.

Every strategy, activity, or conversation is backed by research, adapted for the individuality of your child, and delivered with genuine warmth.

Therapy with me isn’t prescriptive or one-size-fits-all. From day one, your teen is supported every step of the way. My aim is for teens to leave each session with new skills, fresh perspectives, and tools they can use from the moment they step out my door.

My Step-by-Step Process

  • Step 1: Creating a Welcoming Environment

The first time your teen walks into my space, they’ll find a welcoming setting with zero pressure. We take things at their pace, building comfort and trust as the foundation for our work together.
  • Step 2: Collaborative Goal Setting

I work with both you and your teen to set straightforward, realistic goals. Clarity is essential and everyone understands the purpose of our sessions and what progress looks like.

In every session, I use strategies proven to reduce distress, help regulate emotions, reframe negative thoughts, and build real self-esteem. My interventions are always guided by what evidence and experience show truly helps teens.
  • Step 4: Family Support

Parents and caregivers are essential partners in their teen’s growth. I offer guidance tailored to your family’s needs, so you can continue to support your teenager’s progress at home, fostering understanding and resilience beyond our sessions.
