What Is Family & Parenting Support?

This service provides a safe and confidential space for families or parents who feel stuck in conflict, distance, or confusion at home. I work with parents, children, teens, and sometimes the entire family. My job is to help you untangle the frustration and worry, and provide you with concrete tools that align with your family’s values and needs.

We’ll focus on real-life challenges, such as sibling fighting, coping with big emotions, managing boundaries, dealing with disrespect, or blending families. Whether you’re parenting toddlers, teens, or young adults, I meet you where you are.

Learning Communication That Brings You Closer

Our sessions are relaxed and supportive. The first thing we do is talk honestly about what’s happening at home and what isn’t working. We look at what you’ve tried and what you hope for in your family. You’ll set the pace, and I’ll offer guidance and suggestions every step of the way.

I might meet with you as a parent alone first, or with you and your partner, or sometimes with your kids, if that makes sense for your situation. Together, we’ll:

  • Explore what’s underneath the conflict, not just the surface issues
  • Practice new conversation skills right in the session so you know how they feel
  • Experiment with tools and routines that make daily life a little calmer
  • Check in about what’s working and where you still feel stuck
